The Neurovision Rehabilitation Center of PA is dedicated to helping patients who have been suffering from headaches, dizziness, double vision, unsteady walking, difficulty reading, binocular vision dysfunction and brain fog. Patients who describe some or all of these symptoms often have vertical heterophoria or superior oblique palsy, where one eye is higher than the other. It is not uncommon for these symptoms to result from a concussion or traumatic brain injury.

The brain responds to the uneven images by using/overusing the eye muscles to align those images causing stress and strain on the eye muscles. This results in headaches, dizziness or light-headedness, anxiety, a feelings of being disoriented, and problems reading. These conditions are often detected during a standard vision examination.

Often patients have gone to many doctors trying to find answers, including neurologists, ENTs, physical therapists, chiropractors; having multiple tests including MRI’s, CAT scans, and vestibular therapy; and been on many medications to treat depression, anxiety, migraines, and nausea.
